Hi, my name is Navtej Khora I’m the founder of Umbralux, a domestic electrical company built on a love for the trade and a drive to deliver reliable work. I started the business in 2025, after working in the electrical industry from the age of 18. But really, my journey began much earlier.
From the age of nine I practically grew up on construction sites while helping my dad with building his business. Being surrounded by the trades since such a young age, I knew early on that I wanted to pursue my own career, and as soon as I could, I qualified as an electrician.
I spent several years working under experienced professionals, quickly earning trust and responsibility. I eventually found myself running jobs, coordinating with clients and builders, managing other electricians, and making sure everything ran smoothly on-site. That experience gave me the confidence and drive to go out on my own, and Umbralux was born.
The name comes from umbra (shadow) and lux (light), because my goal is simple: to bring light into homes, both literally through my electrical work, and figuratively through honest, qualitative service.
